Public Access to Judicial Administrative Records

California Rules of Court, Rule 10.500 describes the procedures that govern the public’s ability to inspect or receive a copy of a California court’s judicial administrative records as defined in the rule. Please direct requests to inspect or copy judicial administrative records maintained by the Superior Court of California, Sacramento County, in writing via electronic mail or U.S. Mail to:

Effective June 1, 2026, submission of 10.500 requests by fax to (916) 596-2159 will be discontinued. Please note that requests submitted via U.S. Mail may be subject to delivery and processing delays.

The court's business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding court holidays.

The court will make responsive judicial administrative records available for inspection or copying upon request, unless the records are exempt from disclosure as provided in Rule 10.500. Provision of record copies may be subject to advance payment of a fee (see Fee Guidelines and subdivision (e)(4) of rule 10.500).
